Creativity, Activity & Service

Creativity, Activity and Service is at the heart of the IB Diploma Programme, and successful completion of CAS is a core requirement to complete the Programme. The emphasis in CAS is on learning by doing real tasks that have real consequences, and reflecting on these experiences over time.  The aim is to educate the whole person and foster responsible, compassionate citizens. Through CAS activities students should develop greater awareness of themselves, concern for others, and the ability to work cooperatively with other people. Participation in the school's CAS program encourages students to be involved in artistic pursuits, sports and community service work, thus fostering their awareness and appreciation of life outside the academic arena.
