Field Trips Within The PYP

Field trips in the primary school are of great importance for educating students through hands-on, experiential learning. They align well with our Units of Inquiry and have vital links to the community, the great outdoors and the protection of our environment.

Grand Bahama offers numerous opportunities for our students to discover. From the Dolphin Experience and the Lucayan National Park to the Garden of the Groves and the Bahamas Maritime Museum, these are just a few examples of the hidden gems waiting to be explored on our island.

By Year 6, our students are ready to venture further afield and partake in the highly anticipated Camp Wahoo.

This experience is a rite of passage, providing them with an exhilarating opportunity to explore a world beyond the comforts of home on a 3 day camping trip.
