Each year, the Year 6 students have to do an exhibition of they work which is the culminating piece of the IB PYP program. Student investigate and research a topic and present it to the community to show their thorough understanding.
To raise funds for their exhibition, Year 6 hosted the Decades Day inviting students to wear an outfit from their favorite decade and be able to shed the normal uniform for the low cost of $2.00. Students came dressed in outfits from the 1950's through today with the 1960's and the 1980's being the most popular decades. At lunch, Year 6 students sold Pet Rocks and slime to raise some additional funds.
